Booderee National
Park begins south of the Hyam's Beach study area at the ACT
boundary. The Park is managed by the local people and includes the
excellent Botanic Gardens. Phone contact: 02 4441 6536 Australian National
Botanic Gardens is a highly useful resource with photo's, book
lists, the excellent bookshop and many links to associated web sites. Earth Sanctuaries Limited
definitely
worth looking at how the regeneration of degraded environments can be
commercialised. This is the future of environmental resuscitation and it
sure beats investing in Mount Isa Mines or BHP. NSW National Parks and Wildlife
Service regularly criticised by everybody
and regularly restructured, a group of people who have delivered
remarkable service and continually care for our environmental heritage. A
superb library at the Hurstville HQ combined with librarians who help make
this a super resource.
